Why didn't Lebron play in Summer League?

    He could have shown everyone once and for all who had the best summer league team. It would have proven about as much as his championships with Miami will. So why didn't he do it?

    Funny, nobody ever discredits magic johnson and his showtime lakers. Lets see Kareem and James Worthy, all are hall of famers and members of the 50 greatest, what about larry bird, kevin mchale and robert parish all hall of famers and members of the 50 greatest, but now supposedly if miami wins championships it doesnt mean anything?

    Both instances you site involve two draft picks and one trade. Exactly 0 examples of massive mega-free agent collusion. Neither the Lakers nor the Celtics took the easy way out.

    I think the way LeBron folded in his last playoffs series before he bolted to play with Wade will always haunt him, fair or not. He will always be labeled a quitter who can't win as a leader. The only chance he can maybe redeem himself is if he can win several rings AFTER Wade retires.
