What's wrong with Martin's handles?? And plenty has changed, you're being pessimistic. Rockets are a lot closer than people give them credit for. In fact, it's just fans. Players and coaches around the league are calling them contenders this season.
Solid. I would like more defense somehwere in the lineup. I am also weary of having Martin and Yao as the main support girders of our group. I would really feel more conforatble if the guard or center position was somhow more stabilized with guys who have no injury history to feel safe as our star players to count on. Thats about it. If Martin somehow becomes a model of health because he is finally on a good team playing for something? Then Yao makes it through this year? I really have no complaints except we could consolidate all of the backend talent on the bench into one more solid player who could be a star or almost a star as our sixth man or replacing a stater with a more sold player on offense and defense or injury front. maybe? Igoudala? Wish I could give Martin and Yao some HGH or something to stay healthy or grow some bone mass.
for a championship run we need another super star plain and simple. Is that possible right now? no not now. We have to be realistic to understand that we are just not quite there yet, almost, but just not quite there. But we have a great team that will be great as hell to watch, and that do have a black horse chance if stars align to do something, but only if stars along and we dont have any injuries and we are playing beyond our expectations, which is possible but not probable. Yeah i know i just contradicted myself but thats just my opinions.
Health. If we could stay healthy the entire season, we could win 60 games as well as making it to the 2nd round at minimum. I don't know if we can beat LA (or as much as I hate to say it, Dallas), but we would for sure give them a good run. Other than health, we have a couple expiring contracts that could be used for a trade. We are stacked at the 3 and 4 spot with above average players, but I think those 2 positions could be upgraded. Not sure who we would go after, but if we upgraded one of our players at that position as well as some expiring contracts, we could possibly get a very good player. If we manage that, WCF here we come.
We need that one SUPER STAR that will bring us to that Top Upper Echelon teams like Lakers and Miami.

We are top 3 in the WC. The other two are LA and MAV. We are (DWill - AB) away from the Championship.
A roster consolidation/roster balance move. Too many PFs. Need one more PG, maybe a SG or a C. I could see possibly a 2-for-1 or 3-for-1 type of move. Doesn't even necessarily have to be a superstar. Maybe just someone with a big expiring who can contribute.
I think it would be!! I think we're a 3-5 seed with what we have now, if we can get iggy than we are a lock at a top 2 seed and will most likely have to go to south beach to get our trophy!!
I was thinking about Ollie too. I think Anthony Johnson will be a better 3rd PG. A.Carter for DA would be a good idea.
Although i would invite the rumored AI trade, we really aren't lacking anywhere now. We are currently set for a very successful season. I would only look to trade a few of the unused players, but even then i would want to keep them just in case.
A healthy Yao Ming from 3 years ago. He's the most, and perhaps only, significant question mark. After Ilgauskas had a similar surgery, he could only play 20 minutes a game and couldn't play in back-to-backs in his first two seasons back. If this ends up being the case for Yao, this team probably isn't a contender.
