Off the bench? What universe do you live in? Who's starting over him next year? Hill? Did you forget that scola had a 44 point game last season???? YOU DO UNDERSTAND THIS IS THE NBA RIGHT? "Gooden agrees to 5 year 32 million dollar deal with Bucks." He is a journeyman who averaged 10.9 points and 7.7 rebounds last season. Luis Scola 16.2 points and 7.7 rebounds on a solid team last year... Now tell me is it worth it....

You dont win being THAT cheap. We would have scola, lowry, miller and lose out on all of our future free agents.

Highly doubt any team would trade for Darko and his contract unless it was the last year of his expiring contract.

Forgot Daryl had to get the people's approval to spend Les' money. Obviously Les wants to win again and has given Morey the go ahead to make this team better.

Two years possibly three for a 34 year old Miller is not bad. He knows the system and still can play. We wanted a serviceable big man and we got one...

    Tough crowd.

3 years down the road, I doubt an aging scola will start over hill (if hes here) or patterson (if hes here)

Very nice signing, he was in the bag for signing with the rockets months ago. This all a formality. The rockets interior just got bigger and tougher overnight. Also if Yao goes down the rockets can still make the playoffs now.

So Brad Miller is the recruiter we send when Noah becomes a FA? Does World Wide Brad have the connection with D. Rose, too?

What a bunch of r****ds complaining about Miller. Just look at the teams that were after him : ATL/MIA/BOS/CLE/CHI We paid what we had to to get a quality player. You all should be happy we got him. You guys are spoiled since Morey has been underpaying players for a while now.

the way the rockets jersey looks in that clip is perfect...they really need to adjust the cut of the arm opening and make it less baggy.

Sorry Clutchfans, you're not paying. I'm going to wait until the guy plays to criticize.

I have gone through this over and over again, 5 mill a yr is a lot for someone that's gonna be in his late 30s...towards the end of his career.

I am glad we got Miller. We been talking about getting him before last season ended. We want either HIM or Camby!! But since Camby already signed with Blazers, so it's all good now.

Miller has the size and toughness and IQ to play this game. I think he fits in well with this group...hard nose competitive, i mean he's PERFECT. He can shoot the ball from outside and take it to the hole. I think he and Patrick Patterson will be perfect coming off the bench. The intangible things about him is he knows the game...and the Adelman system. He doesn't force shot and play the game right. And he can also pass. He just let the game come to him. I think he still have several years left in his tank.

I don't envision him and Yao on the court at the same time. But i can see him and Scola or him and Patterson.

I love the signing. We needed A BACKUP CENTER and we got one.

The contract is wack, but it's really 2 years, 10 mil. 3rd year, he earns 1 mil, but needs to work for the rest.

He can spell a recovering Yao and he will be a presence in the paint along with Jordan Hill, who will spell Scola. He's aged, but he isn't going to be with us for long. With our 2 draft picks from NY and FA the next couple of years, we will have our young backup C for Yao. You guys need to step back from the ledge and believe in DM.

    IN MOREY WE TRUST!

Brad Miller is easy on the eyes. Great addition to the team. His style of play isn't the most energy filled, so I don't think age is going to be an issue. A sure upgrade from DA, both in appearance and game.

Adding a back up center that this team truly needed really shows how he lost his freaking mind  .....
