And it's funny cause we've only added one new player...

I think for old time sake Brad and Kevin should wear their hairstyles from their days with the kings. Brandon Jennings knows a guy.

wow im surprised theyre going this far over the luxury tax. then again having insurance in case yao gets injured again is pretty important.

I don't think there has been one move this offseason in which most people haven't said "OVERPAID." I think we should adjust our sense of "being overpaid" to the current market now.

If this is the actual deal, then it is not that bad. Yao will not be playing 35 minutes a night, and the Rockets need a legitimate center. Miller is a REAL center and a very good passer and cutter. He also is very smart on defense and is good enough to start.

Chandler would have helped more defensively and on the boards, but would not fit well in our offense and is injury prone.

Also, Miller is perfect for Yao to go against in practice.

we should have offered him $1M for 1 yr, and I thought $2M would be pushing it...Morey please lay off the drugs. Scola will 33 making $10M coming off the bench while the 38 yr old miller will be hoping for 30+ point blowouts.

Darko is 25, athletic, decent rebounder and a much better shot blocker than Brad Miller. Both aren't sure fire bets, but with Darko at least he's a lot more tradeable if things don't work out, not to mention cheaper on a per year basis.

If only all of these partially guaranteed contracts would just line up perfectly...you could get some good players since owners nowadays care about salary relief more than getting equal value in players.

And.... he would reject it... I believe the veterans minimum for Miller is over 1 million.

Good deal!!! Veteran center that could give Yao a rest, interior toughness, ability to stretch the court, already played with Rick so he knows the system. I like

That`s about twice as much as I´d expected... and I actually also thought 2,5million would be a lot for Miller... I like him, and he`s a perfect fit for this offense, but he has slowed down some and is pretty old... 3 years?

Looks like we got from a team with great value contracts to a team with normal-bad contracts.

Let`s hope all of this works out in the end, and we can make a deep playoff run!

Miller was also coveted by 4 other teams. Money is almost always an issue. He will help us.
