What's even cool that JGL started his own company 5 years ago... I read an article about him other day in current issue of Details.

I'm curious about this. Regular movies have captions?

for the hearing impaired there are theaters that provide captions, but these are not IMAX theaters.

probably wont see this over the weekend due to the crowd but is it really worth seeing in IMAX?

At first after I watched the movie last night, I didn't think so.. but the more that I think about it... the more I want to see it in IMAX. Some of the scenes would look so awesome on a huge screen.

It sounds to me (in these trailers) like he's turning into Jack Nicholson, for some reason.

Just saw this at the IMAX in Tomball. Fantastic movie. Groundbreaking in the way "The Matrix" was but in a different way. An adult story and something fresh. Acting and direction was solid and I would give it a 4.5 out 5. Probably the best film I've seen this year.

If/when you go, make sure you pay attention. Even though I was trying hard its easy to lose track of exactly whats going on if you're not careful or paying attention. It can almost feel at times as if you are watching 4 movies at once. Imagine trying to keep up with that and you will understand better what I mean....

Boy I'm glad I saw this at the Imax, everyone actually shut the F*** up and watch the movie as oppose to watching this at a regular theater where people would talk, text chit chat and all those annoying little bits that people do at a theater...

I would watch it in IMAX but its over an hour away from my house. The Edwards Mar E off Katy Freeway because it seems that's the only real IMAX in Houston. I got those money pinching LIEMAX screens at the AMC near my house.

Kind of hard to follow at times, but that was an amazing movie.

Freefall/rotating hotel scenes were absolutely incredible.

Mrs. SwoLy and I watched it today. We both liked it. It's edge-of-your-seat-will-he-won't-he-make-it-out-or-what-stop-messing-with-my-brain-mo-fos-movie-making. Even though I have some questions, I liked how it messed with my mind.

    ****TRUE SPOILERS****

    It's like the Matrix meets
the fly (teleportation) meets FLATLINERS.

FINALLY. A sigh of relief... we get to see the kids' faces... but... if he sees them... so WHAT? Well, we know it's HIS reality, because all the other peeps don't know the kids. The spinning thingie does NOT stop spinning... so it means the wife is dead.

    Everything is special effects.
    Only the actors are real.
Do not click if you want to find the truth!
My name is SwoLy-D. I am in your deepest level of dream. Get me out, b*tches.

This is going to sound wrong... but...
we didn't see any black people inside the theater or outside waiting for the movie for the next showing. I saw Hispanic, Asian, and Indian/Pakistani peeps. No black folks. Perhaps because there's no black dude in the movie?

Also, I was thinking throughout the whole movie if the Scarecrow would ever meet Alfred. :p

Awesome movie, and this will be hard to top!!!...Leonardo pretty much plays the same character from Shutter Island, or at least in many ways.

I could see it a second time. It makes you think, while providing fun - a true rare combination. Loved the ending as well for you to decide.

I don't think Leo can be as intense as Jack. Dood can be flat out scary and would eat a live kitty.

not really a spoiler, just nitpicking:
Btw anyone else notice that the INDIAN guy was the designated driver?? AND he was also the chemist!

coincidence? racism? 5th layer? I'll let you decide ;)

Just got back from watching it in IMAX at Marqe. The movie was pretty awesome. Agree with the comments that it can be a bit confusing at times and you really need to pay attention. It's one of those that I'll definitely want to see a 2nd or 3rd time so that I can fully digest every thing.

Going to see it tmrw night at IMAX...cant wait...

However, I did hear that it is eerily similar or even a rip-off of another movie called Paprika, a Japanese anime that came out a few years ago. Same premise about stealing dreams and such. Anybody seen that movie find any resemblance to Inception? Just wondering.
