Shaq has planned to have his surgery on September 11th. Here's a link:

It says he is expected to miss training camp and some of the regular season. Any thoughts? Will this help Yao dominate him? :D ;)

You must have had a pretty crappy birthday last year, RC.

It wasn't that bad. But with Shaq having surgery on MY birthday, this will be the worst. :D

Sorry, I guess my joke wasn't evident.

(you know, if Shaq is worse than 9/11, something wrong?)

And how come no one is talking about Shaq?

    Ahh! I'm double posting!

Oh well, its for a good cause.

Shaq may have to delay his surgery due to liver problems.
    http://espn.go.com/nba/news/2002/0904/1427224.html

Dang, its sounds like he's just breaking down.:p Naw, his liver probaly is fine, and if its not, I hope he's ok. (and that's hard for me to say, since I really don't like Shaq.) Didn't sound TOO serious, though.

edit: Oops. Looks like this article was posted in another thread. Still...
