Fernandez is a stupid idea. He wasn't happy being a backup there, why would he want to play a similar role here.

And even if he wanted to come here, Bud is already as good as him, he's younger and cheaper. Plus we haven't seen Bud get to play with the big fella yet.

My bad, didn't see Fernandez already had his own thread. Maybe we should merge this one into the other one?

I like him a lot, but we have way too many wings already.

The Toyota Center is going to be called "Wings and more" this year.

While I like him as a player, we just have no room for him, we are way too stacked in the SG/SF position.

Looks like Fernandez wants to take his talents to South Beach.

yea we have too many wings as it is but maybe if the rockets decide to make jermaine our 3rd point guard that would clear up enough space ..what do u think?

So even bench players are getting in on the act? Ridiculous. The Blazers should trade him to Memphis just to make a point.

I think that may be the single funniest thing I have read on this BBS, a PG that never passes the ball.....EVER.

    ;)

I mean Jermaine Taylor makes Von Wafer look like John Stockton reincarnate.

I can't see him wanting to come to Houston. He'd be in the same boat. No way we were on that list. Wouldn't want him here crying about playing time on our bench anyways.

Really, I think we have way too many bigs:

    Yao
    Scola
    Andersen
    Hayes
    Jefferies
    Hill
    Patterson
B.Miller (chron said we offered contract)
    (8)

    For wings we have:
    Martin
    Ariza
    Battier
    Budinger
    Taylor
    (5)

fixed it for you. I agree. we have too many little bigs. i would trade 3 of them for an experienced backup center and a young guy that can play 4/5 with an emphasis on defense. Too bad there isnt anyone available that fits that.

trade for Rudy and Marc Gasol, bring Llull over, trade one of our PGs for Rubio

We would have the Spanish national team, + Scola, incredible chemistry.

Jermaine Taylor a PG? LOL!! :p
I would seriously doubt Adelman would even consider that & he likes his game.

JT + 2nd rounder for Rudy is about the max I'd be willing to give up. Rudy would be fighting for playing time here, too, though.
