Is yao considered one of the best centers (or even THE best) of this decade?

    To be the best, you gotta beat the best. Yao hasn't done anything of that matter.

    When Yao plays, hell yes. He's got a complete game with hooks, lay ins, dunks, jumpers, free throws, etc etc, and against Dwight Howard & the Magic who most people will probably compare Yao to, Rockets are 7-2 against Magic when Yao and Howard went toe-to-toe. Not to mention DHoward relies too much on his physical & athletic gifts that come & go with age rather than his game.

    Yao is the best center in the west no doubt. If it wasn't his injuries over the years he would be the best in this decade. Injury free, yao is unstoppable.
