Because I looked like this when I was born.

Actually, either I was listening to a Beatles album or strumming the song on the guitar. Probably the latter....(jeeez, I've played it enough times throughout the years)

Yeah, well... I'm also probably one of the oldest guys out here and along the past 11 years, life happened. I'm the only sports fan at home and the estrogen levels keep the game enthusiasm tamped down ("it's all stupid-sexist-boring-etc.").
I also miss some of the old school posters who kept things really fun:

LHutz - what inimitable style that guy had.
    JeffBalke- irreverent and ironic

    Mace- smart, insightful

So maybe a thread is called for to talk about the freewheeling, pioneering days prior to online communities becoming commercialized, self-important and self-referential. Am I right, old blue-theme, snarling dildo, ClutchCity folks?

The Rockets had to BEAT LA in order to make it to the NBA Finals in 1981 and 1986. The Lakers sucked when the Rockets won their two NBA championships.

I know the Rockets will have to BEAT LA again if they want to win another ring soon.

2/3 series wins against the Lakers.

I think you're more right than wrong, but then, everything changes. Just be glad you really saw the hey day, kind of like punk rock before 1980.

I thought about using ALF in 1997. For some stupid reason....

    Ended up with Almu.

First two letters of my first name. First two letters of my last name.

13 years and counting around here.... :)
