Great deal! Some of you guys are way off base calling this a bad deal. Have you seen some of the contracts being given out? This is a bit lower than I thought.

Wow! The Nets were crazy to pay that for Outlaw and yes, it certainly makes Luis look like a better than decent deal.

Yea I was thinking he was gonna get around the 5/$50 range or something like that. But I'm glad Scola (and Lowry) are back with us.

I met Scola, I have an autographed poster framed on my wall an autographed ball in a glass case and a jersey... Glad that my favorite Rocket will probably retire one!

I'm so happy for my team and for Luis Scola, but here's my worry.

    1. Lowry unhappy with playing time.
    2. Rockets wait, wait, wait during free agency.
    3. Lowry unhappy to not get offer from Rox.
    4. Lowry must sign when Rox match Cavs.
    5. Lowry agent says "not what we would prefer, but my client must return to Rockets since they are matching."
    6. Lowry watch Beast Man get good offer without competing offer.
    7. Lowry sad. Sadness lead to fear. Fear lead to anger. Mrmmrmmm.

Lowry has 16 million-24 million reasons to not complain.

I was expecting this deal to be done soon after KL's.
'cuz if team doesn't move quickly, it leaves an aweful impression to Scola, now I'm glad our full team is back for another run

Good for Scola. Why Morey making Scola to die? Scola deserves anything!

It would of been a good deal if it was 3 or even a 4 year deal. 5 is too long for a guy his age.

While Scola is only being paid 7 million a year and david west is getting paid 9 million a year.

scola has a higher field goal percentage and he plays 4 less minutes a game while getting more rebounds and doesn't have chris paul spoon-feeding him easy baskets all day.

    SCOLA FOR LYF!

most efficient power forward in the nba in my books. this contract is just sooo sweet for both him and the rockets
