I haven't seen a foot in that condition since I was holding some lady's foot that was hanging on by just the Achilles tendon like 4 years ago at work. All she kept saying was "Mah Foot hurts....Mah Foot hurts...Is mah foot okay? Mah foot hurts..." (she was in a head on automobile collision).
Condemns? Is that what you use for protection? Girl :: You got protection? DonkeyMagic :: Yeah, I've already condemned my junk.
Better question: would B-Bob go camping in polar bear territory? I didn't say the dude should sacrifice himself. Just sent out some sadness for the bear and its kind.
ew...bugs and stuff. No way. I'm not a camping kind of gal and this does not sound pleasant to me at all. The fact that you're thinking about sleeping in your car goes beyond what I'm almost willing to do. I'm sure that when my children are older I will have to bite the bullet and venture out in a tent. What fun. Heck, this is as outdoorsy as I am. We just had our 4th of July trip to a lake. My brothers were fishing and I said, "Alright. I'll fish." So I made my brother get my pole down. Made my mother put the hook and weights on. And made my mother's boyfriend put on the worm. I just held the pole in the water.
Simple. Stay wherever you like, and be sure to take three matches with you. In the even you find yourself in trouble, strike one... strike two... strike three... you're out.
Never camped at Mt. D since it's relatively close, but have hiked around there. Pretty sweet view from the top! This is to gifford1967 as well. Been to many different spots, but my favorite is in Big Sur (Kirk Creek Campground), which is right off the 1. You're basically on the Pacific, which is pretty damn gorgeous with some good hiking in the area as well. The other favorite of mine is Bowman Reservoir, which straddles the CA-NV border:
awesome! i get a two week sabbatical in the next year here at work and it's going to involve a road trip and camping out there.
