The movie was a bit disappointing after reading the book, I think it couldda been done a little better.

The best part of the book is where Trevor Ariza is traded at the end.......

if you didnt notice, wrong forum

Heard it takes place after the last all-star in the NBA, John Wall, signs with the Heat.

I liked the movie. I love the book a lot more though (I read it before watching the movie).

I love Cormac McCarthy. How many living authors get compared to Melville and Faulkner?

    Wrong forum, dude.

    The Road....

To The Playoffs for the 09-10 Rockets.

A story of Rick Adelman leading young Aaron Brooks through a desolate NBA wilderness in a futile search for the playoffs. With special guest star T-Mack, who decides he can't go on and shoots himself in the knee before the story begins and only appears in flashbacks as the story unfolds.

That's weird, I JUST finished watching that movie, then jumped on here and saw this thread. Craziness!

It was a good flick - very dark, depressing with glimmers of hope. Being a Rockets fan, you'll feel right at home.
