If Pat Riley came to the rockets and said we will trade you the big three for every player on your roster would you do it?

All you get is the big 3 the rest you fill on your own.

I for one would rather have three superstars then all the role players in the world. I think the best way to win a title is get superstars. That is what we tried to do with Tmac and Yao, and while they were superstar players I wouldn't put either of them as top 5 players. Maybe tmac his first year, and maybe yao in 2007, but lebron and wade are no doubt top 5 guys.

    Is this a trick question.

Big 3 who are at the prime of their careers...

Anybody who says "no"....is a die Hard AB/Yao/KM/Scola fan.

I think everybody would say yes, but the problem is Houston has this "curse of injuries" so with our luck, we would get them but only 2 of the 3 would every play together......

    Never.

We have a great group of guys.

Wouldn't trade them for a couple divas and an injury prone guard.

Tempted to say yes, but no, I wouldn't. We have a good group of guys who have a great chemistry together, and that's too many spots to fill.

    I agree.

Thanks for the offer but no thanks.

Can we please stop talking about the new heat... who cares... its not like they're gods..

Im filled with pride to support the hard working squad we have now, they are very enjoyable to watch out there, not every team has hustle players that go out there every night and give it their all, thats entertaining enough and we do it without being ego filled jerks. they just go out there and do their job in a professional manner.

I just noticed they are 3 of the top 4 PER players in the league. That is nuts.

Give Morey the chance to fill out a roster with nothing but the minimum to work with and he'd say, "when do I start?"

No. I'm a firm believer in depth and I think our current roster will win more games than the Heat next year (I'm with Morey).

Um, hell yes. If I trust anyone to find cheap players that can produce, it's Morey.

    No.

Guys it's always better to stand your ground instead of just switching it up every time...

Rather see our group of guys win a Championship than the big three.

Love the guys on the squad but I root for the name on the front of the jersey not the back and I am all about...

So that would be a YES...

i voted NO, yes i love the guys we have; Yao, Martin, Brooks, Ariza, Battier, Scola, Hayes, Patterson, Hill, Lowry. First off, we haven't even seen the Big Heat 3 play a single game, yes they might look good on paper but end of the day it's a team game, those 3 are gonna have the most pressure any NBA team in history will ever have and with bloated ego, they might just crack under pressure. Yeah, LBJ did win couple of Regular Season MVP and scoring titles but what else? Last i heard he quit on his team. Bosh? Over-hyped Power forward and have not proved anything. One moment he says he wants to be the man the next he crawls into his little hole to play with 2 stars, weak heart.

Yes Heat does look good now still unproven, they might even prove the critics wrong when the season gets underway but i am still sticking to the guys we have on our current roaster anytime of the day. All i really hope for is for Yao to stay healthy from now on until he retires a Rocket.

Well, Wade has a ring which is more than entire Rockets squad if all you look at is the past.

The Rockets get the big three for everyone on the roster. Easy deal. Scola and Lowry are FAs so they aren't technically part of roster so using their bird rights we add them. Patterson hasn't signed so he isn't part of roster. Sweet talk Llull over here with part of MLE.

Bosh, Lebron, Wade, Scola, Lowry, Patterson, and llull would be a nice roster. Not to mention how strong Rocks will be after two years of MLE contracts and Knicks picks.
