LOL in what universe is this true? Maybe Amare has flashier dunks, sure I'll give him that. And they have equal rebounding. Everything else, defense, health, youth, perimeter skills, ability to create his own shot, efficiency, it all goes to Bosh.

Melo is a good player on O, but he's average on D. When they play against LBJ, LBJ will shut him down and score on him a lot. Wade is unstoppable, and as I already said Bosh is better than Amare. The three kings would win every time.

DH, Melo and Paul would be a much better matchup IMHO. At least Dh will clog the paint and force LBJ and Wade to rely on their jumpers.

In the Universe where Melo and Amare have proven that they can both thrive with a good pg. The universe where there is a good chance those players compliment each other better than bosh wade and lebron will. A universe where you have arguably the best scorer in basketball in Melo and the best scoring big man in the league with Amare on the same team with the best passer in the league. Which three would be better on a TEAM is debatable to say the least.

I would take Paul, Melo and Dwight over the Miami big 3 but not Amare.

A better question would be if you had the Hakeem/Barkley/Clyde trio at the age of 25-27 would they be better than Miami?

    Barkley>>>>>Bosh
Olajuwon>Lebron (yeah I know different positions, Hakeem's defense wins)
    Clyde>Wade

IMO we had the better team, just too much years had gone by.

4get about who is better the question is and i highly doubt it would happen but which team has the better supporting cast if all 3 guys don't show up?

My $$$ is on CP3 Mello and Amare. Bron and Wade have a similar game. Neither can shoot.

Too bad they aren't in their prime but I'll take Boston's big 3 over both of these options

    Honestly? Paul, Anthony, Stoudemire.

Paul to be floor leader, Anthony to be 4th quarter, and Stoudemire to be the big that everyone is afraid of.

James and Wade just do too similar things.

Williams, Durant, and Howard would trump any big three for a while though.

Didn't Melo have a 40+ point game against Lebron including the game winner over Lebron last season?

    How did that work out?

I don't think it will be as cozy as they think it will be, at least I am hoping as much.

That's only one side of the ball bro'. You can't win playing offense only b-ball.
Amare is a defensive sieve, and Melo is an average defender at best.
