Checked out HAVEN - does not look bad. But not overly good. Warehouse 13 - it is still mediocre and copped out on some interesting developments. The Gates: I think I will give it like 2~3 more episodes. Ole Girl from Nip/Tuck will get that much from me. [She is in stargate too] HappyTown - this is a very slow and sucky show Eureka - still mediocre Waiting on PSYCHE Burn Notice is still good. Rocket River
Have only watched The Gates and I've actually enjoyed it more and more with each episode, think it's taking an interesting slant.
Been kind of hit or miss for me, some are really good other are just kind of bleh. I was watching persons unknown as well but it's just been sent to the saturday nite graveyard, I thought it was kind of interesting though...
i watched a couple of these on saturday for the first time and i enjoyed them. Obviously it's a bit silly but Bradley WHitford's character is hilarious.
The only show I plan on watching is Warehouse 13. It's entertaining enough, but pretty cheesy I watched the first episode of Haven, it wasn't too great, but I will give it a couple more episodes
LOVE Wipeout except for the cheesy commentary. Also love Jill..... Big Brother just started. Trying to get into it, but it's pretty lame so far with the whole "saboteur" angle. It's supposed to be Big Brother, not The Mole. Hope they don't drag this out the whole season. BTW, I usually don't go for big fake boobs, but that redhead.... HOO-LEE JESUS.
Royal Pains has been a little slow compared to its immensely entertaining debut last year. Still entertaining enough ... hopefully it picks up. I like the "if it aint broke don't fix it" approach Burn Notice has adopted. Still guaranteed entertainment for an hour. Rookie Blue has been surprisingly good. I definitely appreciate it being a very different formula from your run-of-the-mill cop drama... very character-centric.
I caught the 1st episode of Memphis Beat the new Jason Lee show Meh! Will give it two more episodes. I prefer Lee with Comedy [he should do the remake for Magnum PI *grin*] When does Sons of Anarchy come back? Rocket River
I like Royal Pains too . . interesting but not the greatest It keeps my attention I saw the 1st episodes of Rookie Blue all I could think about was . . Grey's Police Academy the internal monologue etc. . . It was a big turn off Rocket River
I've been watching "Persons Unknown" on NBC. It's not great but it's not bad either. It has an interesting premise and it's only going to be one season/13 episodes so it's not a huge investment.
Louie on FX...Louis CK's new show. Kind of gotten off to a slow start, but I see potential in it if FX sticks with it. Only problem is that it doesn't come on until 10 pm Central on Monday.
i agree that it will probably take some time for them to find their stride but there is a lot of potential there.
I watched The Gates when it premiered and I didn't really like it. If this show gets picked up then I'll watch the show. I miss my TV shows but it's a good time to catch up with movies on Netflix!
Be aware it's been shuttled to Saturday nites, no episode this Monday, next one is this Saturday at 7pm, have to set my DVR.
