most centers aren't "speedy." Z is still a very skilled and smart player. there's more to the game than just speed. last i checked he is stil 7'3 and the heat have not one proven nba center on their roster. with big men always being overpaid in the nba (and hard to acquire) they would be crazy to pass on him.
I doubt it since he already showed cleveland more loyalty than they deserved after they tried to banish him to the wizards midseason. Especially after their idiot coach embarrassed him in front of his friends and family by leaving him on the bench the whole game when he set the record for most games played as a Cav.
If I recall correctly the Cavs were looking to trade Ilgauskas but James voiced that he preferred they keep him.
Ilgauskas is a true Cav for life. He allowed the trade to Washington because he thought it would help net the Cavs a championship. Little did he know his buddy LBJ would quit on the team. I don't think Cavs fans will hold it against him if he goes to the Heat to get a ring, though it will be an utterly disgusting thing.
If you're talking about the playoffs, some of you act like LeBron is the reason they didn't advance. I don't even think he quit. Boston is very good at defending a team that is one dimensional on offense. Look at how they forced Kobe to struggle shooting percentage wise. If LeBron quit then he would have also quit on defense which wasn't the case considering that series was the worst that Pierce played. LeBron quitting in the playoffs is a myth.
