Maybe that's his problem: overthinking the shot.

not impressed with Jordan Hill, not at all. Just looks like he's got no motor, and no passion.

Jermaine Taylor should loan Jordan Hill some confidence!

Jermaine Taylor sure looks like his confidence level is through the roof right now! If he keeps this up, you could see Morey hold tight on a backup 2 and give the job to Taylor. On the other hand, Hill sure looks like his confidence is not all the way there yet. Shows just how good veterans can make you look. He barely got to know the playbook and you can tell he is still learning during sumer league.

Good thing they won! JT should get plenty of playing time. He's been dominating the SL for two seasons now.

Terry played at UA too. He knows Chase and he was saying nice things about him. He said Chase is going to have a long career in the NBA.

Our backup 2 right now is Shane I believe...who is also a backup 3.

Either way, Chase and JT should be sharing time with Shane...if Shane is still on the team much longer...or Ariza.

Hill wasnt that good tonight, though neither was Patterson and even Budinger's looking pretty average.

Though if you're the #8 pick in a draft on the court with a bunch of 2nd rounders and undrafted guys, you should be the best player on the court or close to looking like one. Kudos to McHale for keeping the expectations high on Hill.

Naw Coleman played for the Hornets yesterday and did absolutely nothing positive.

    Roddy Beaubois is a stud.

That said, Jermaine Taylor is getting there. He just seems to have a really slow release. Maybe thats why hes so accurate, that he gets to fully set the shot with his feet and body before releasing it. But in that case I reckon he can only just be a Wesley Matthews guy for us--defend and spot up shooting.

Morey needs to look elsewhere for a backup shooting guard. Raja Bell would prove to be much more useful to this team next season that Jermaine ever could. Jermaine probably can't get more than 15 mins per game next season

I hope he can build on this. We need him to succeed.

we are loaded at the wing spots and I'd take JT over Bell if he keeps playing like this. His potential is sky high. we don't need any more wings to clog up the rotation. we need a backup center.

He can drive as well. This is going to be a big year for him,if he improves and learns to be consistent,he can make it in the league.

Why take Bell when you have Battier?

IMO JT is more like a Jason Richardson...but has better defensive potential than J-Rich.

No way i'm replacing JT with Bell when Bell is at the end of his career and JT has not hit his prime yet.

I didn't watch the game, but JT's box score looked great. I don't see why people say he is out of control this summer. He had 3 assist and only 1 turnover, he was very efficient with 7-11 FG and 1-2 3pt. It looks great for a SG.
