They paid Haywood too much money to be a backup.

other then miami .. the other elite team that has made a move are the lakers .. and they signed a back up point.. everyone else has resigned their own players....and the notion that we need a power forward is ridiculous.. we have scola and we used our lottery pick to draft patterson not to mention the fact that hayes can play power forward and against teams that go small.. battier can slide and play power forward... i think we are good at power forward, we need a back up center and a back up shooting guard

We are fine at the 4,however Battier could not succeed as a 4. Juwan Howard had to start instead of him. Hill,Patterson, and a re-signed Luis plus Chuck are good enough.

Mavs' Jefferson talks have been more frequent but Wolves want draft picks WITH Dampier's cap-friendly contract. Mavs offering neither

    Mark Cuban = Jerry Jones

Daryl Morey = Scott Pioli, Bill Belichick

All the wolves want is 13 mil in expiring contract and draft picks

I say give them jefferies + Battier+ two future second round picks for

    Jefferson and Rubio rights

    Getrrrrrrdone morey

If he's not, it's because it's not so. Morey is smarter than us.

I think Dampier's contract is non-guaranteed and the wolves can waive him without paying a penny

I realize battier long term at the 4 is a bad idea .. i am just saying in short situations when other teams like to go small and put quicker people at 4, we have the option of battier playing there

I'm trying to figure out how the T'Wolves frontline is so crowded it requires dumping your best big man for nothing.

They must be broke, because Kevin Love and a few draft picks does not a crowded rotation make.
