Will any of Ming's games be on TNT or not? Thanks in advance.

Its a bit late to watch him now. I think the games for China are almost up. This may be their last. Does anyone know for sure? I don't know how the World Championship schedule is.

It is also a little late to tell you this, but oh well. About maybe 2 weeks ago, Ya..I mean China played Canada in a exibition game, and NBATV showed some of it. About a week later, China played the US in a exibtion game. Both NBATV and ESPN News showed a good part of that game. Those are all the games that I know that have been on TV.

China will play five games after the game with USA. I don't think any of these games will be watched on TV (at USA).

They start with 4 groups of 4 teams (16 total teams). The top 3 in each group advance (12 teams). Unless Algeria upsets Germany, China is assured of advancing to the next "re-grouping" known as "The Eighth Final Round.

From the FIBA website about the "8th Final Round:

The 12 teams qualified from the Preliminary Round will be divided into 2 groups (E, F) of 6 teams each.

The 3 best-placed teams from groups A and B will play in Group E.

The 3 best-placed teams from groups C and D will play in Group F.

Each team will play the 3 new teams in its own group (the final score of all games played in the Preliminary Round are valid for this round).

If I understand correctly, China is team C3 and will play the first place finisher of Group D (D1) - either Argentina or New Zealand, on Monday. They would play Russia (D3) on Tuesday.

China will advance. Algeria is trailing Germany 52-80 now. If China meet
New Zealand in the next round that would be interesting.
Remember 2 months ago, China beat
    NewZealand twice in their invitaional
    tournament. Yao Ming was quite
    impressive in those games.
