As many know already, Smeggy's organizing a weekend Rockets bash for the last weekend game of the season--Seattle, April 12th. Can you believe he's actually coming all the way from Australia to honeymoon in Houston. What a dud groom that is.

Anyone want to reserve a seat now?

I just found out from my Rocket's rep today that I can buy before tickets go on sale to the public. Maybe I'll buy a block of 6-8 tickets to give to Smeggy as a wedding present, if there's enough interest. Note, if we actually are in a playoff hunt, tickets might be hard to come by in a block. This would be the best time to buy.

Either way, consider buying as soon as they go on sale to the public for best available seats. This is a Saturday game against Seattle (2nd to last game of the season), and Behad is going to make his famous bbq before the game...ain't that right--Behad?

There is a good chance I might be in. I have to check a couple of schedules first though.

I will probably be in for two seats - what section are you considering buying them in HP? Cost?

I'll be healed and ready to go by then!!! And I can sling 'bows with the best of them!

Definitely count me in HP. I'm taking vacation time then to play host to Mr. and Mrs. Smeg, and the BBQ will be flowing!

ooh...we are at 16 counting Mr/Mrs Behad, Mr/Mrs Smeggie, and Mr/Mrs Achebe, and anonymous emailers. getting over my budget in a hurry, especially since Sept is always a bad cash flow month for me after buying my season tickets.

How about this: Can you all pay for yours, and I'll just give an extra 6-8 to Smeggie as a gift to allocate as he wishes?

What do you guys think of a paypal pre-pay, then I buy one big block before they go on sale to the public. We need to buy by 9/17, I believe, to buy a block together. I'll have to double check on that, though.

I just had another Smeggspirational idea.

How about everyone who wants to give Smeggy a wedding gift (like me) just toss in an extra ticket purchase for him to allocate anyway he wants for his big party.

for instance, I already have a ticket (obviously), so I just want a bigger cc.net block and will toss in 6-8 as a wedding gift. If you buy one/two for yourself, and toss in another as a wedding gift to let Smeggy use has he wants later in the year, that will be one HUGE block.

    comments?

Don't count Mrs. Behad...she's not a basketball fan. Most likely, she will stay at home with the kids.

I'm confused...should I just pay for 2 tickets, and be included in the original block of Smegdom, or pay for two extra tickets for Smeg to do with as he sees fits?

BTW, Mrs. Behad is in again:eek:

I'll come, I can definetly pay for my seat - but depending on the price, I am unsure about paying for the gift seat.

Maybe I'll just get him a purty collar for his pet Kangaroo.

I can pre-pay but what section are we talking about? If it is the 40-50 dollar range I may not be able to afford that. Let us know what ya had in mind for price range HP.

The $46 seats are good for me, but that may be out of a lot of people's price range.
