 Why do you feel bad? Do you not think they deserved what they got? It was highly unprofessional.

wasn't very funny, but some of the stupid crap they put on the news sometimes, I imagine some of their employees are like "WTF, why are we showing this garbage?" so I can relate.

Yeah these guys clearly are thinking they can become a new comedy group I guess. Give them credit for doing it, and the videos were pretty damn funny.

But they had to expect to be fired. What were they thinking by filming this on the job?? Can't have it both ways guys.

Just odd they did it since they already had a career. But I wouldn't mind seeing more stuff like this.

Of course only after I watch the full videos do I regret giving them this much credit. Don't think the Daily Show is going to be calling.

This video pretty much sums up the life of a weekend reporter, it sucks. You deal with pricks all day with the slightest hope that you will eventually end up in a top-10 market to be able to make a decent living. My roommate is an anchor where I live and they don't have to deal with as much crap as an average reporter does, they are more concerned about how their makeup looks and reading the teleprompter.

I also used to intern at channel 13. You'll never watch Dave Ward the same until you've seen him drop the F bomb on somebody multiple times. You made it your top priority not to stand in his way or look him in the eye. I have all kinds of great stories from there lol

They should try to shop around their videos as the basis for a tv show. With some real actors and writers I think they could make something interesting.

really? Interesting. I interned there as well - back in 94 I think. Never had a problem with Dave Ward but I didn't deal with him much. Bob Allen was a jerk to everybody though. Everyone else was very nice..especially the weather guys and Gina Gaston and ?? Koch (Forgot his first name but I believe he's still there).

So, you thought that was funny? There was literally nothing funny at all in those videos. How stupid can those reporters be?

The only thing funny about the videos is the fact that local news often does cover these stupid ass local festivals that every small town has.

Imagine going to college to be a newsreporter, then getting assigned to go interview some hayseeds at the Watermelon Festival or Sunflower Days.

Ya, one of the chicks on the Houston news here (I won't say who) partied with some of my wife's friends when they met up for an impromptu reunion. When they picked her up to go out she was completely BAKED!

    Good times.

Not real smart to use Station assets without permission.
