LA, Miami, NY in no particular order would be the places you'd think would have the best medical treatment.
I think I remember Houston and Philly being mentioned (maybe Chicago too). His daughter has retinal cancer and had a tumor in her eye. She was being treated in New York when he was playing in Utah. It's fairly rare so there probably only a few specialists around. I don't know if Miami would be a place where you could receive treatment or not. Retinoblastoma is also a very curable form of cancer. His daughter could be completely over it by now.
Derek Fisher taking less money to go play for Miami when he already plays for a back-to-back champion would make him even more of a b**** than he already is. Somehow it wouldn't surprise me though.
As of right now I am neutral towards Heat. However, if this punk ass flopping b**** and a cheater goes to the heat, I will absolutely despise them. Derek Fisher is a scum.
We all have different reasons to not like some NBA players. Fisher is just driving up his value. The Lakers went out and signed Blake thinking they have the upper hand, and this is Fisher taking it right back from them. The last thing they want is for Fisher to end up in Miami.
root for the heat this year. god some of you are sick in the head. It's Rockets only, everybody else can F OFF
See, I really like these jokes. Seriously. I hope someone mans up and makes a parody of the LeBr-yawn hour. Should be Mbenga or someone like that, getting an hour of late night cable time to talk about his decision, with like Petros. ANYWAY -- I disagree that this is a good fit for the new Heat. They need guards who are lights out perimeter defenders. Here's why: your three horses have to do *everything* offensively, so you can't ask Wade and LBJ to play lock-down perimeter D the whole game. At the same time, the Heat will have weak interior D (yes, even if they land Shaq Buddha.) So perimeter defense will be critical for them.
This freaking sucks. If the Heat can put together some serviceable players to go with those three, they're going to win a championship. The only chance the rest of the league has is if they can't get anybody decent to sign. Welcome to the new NBA, where players control franchises and champions are no longer built. The Florida Marlin blueprint for success.
I'm not sure, he's easily going to get out played by many young point guards, and to be honest that game 3 of the finals was a fluke. If he didn't came up big in game 3, the lakers would've lost the finals and I would be happy.
fisher wants the lakers to fear losing him and going to the team that most will pick to play them in the Finals. this will work, and the lakers will offer him more money. fisher wears the purple and yellow next season.
very perceptive; Kupchak, in particular PhilJax, have always acknowledged Fisher's value in the locker room. While Kobe is the leader on the court; off the court Fisher is the glue that holds the egos together. most probabl scenario
