I agree with this. I heard it said recently that all he raps about is "how his mom's a loser, how his wife's a loser, and how he's a loser." I wouldn't exactly call him a loser, but the point is that lately it seems that all he raps about are problems with his screwed up family. Who cares? You could almost call it "country rap." You know, I lost my job, my wife ran away, my car got a flat tire, and on and on. Changing gears a little bit, is he really considered a "hard" rapper? I always thought an interesting question for Eminem fans, in particular black Eminem fans, is this: Would it be okay for him to use the word "n****" in his lyrics, like most other "hard" rappers do? Why or why not? Interestingly (or not), I don't think I've ever heard him use the word in his lyircs, but then again I haven't heard every one of his tracks... Essays must be double spaced and are due in one week.

I like Eminem and his music. But the problem seems to be that you all are taking his stuff too literally. He mentions about killing and beating his wife, but if you really listen, his next track will completely say that that's not right and how its wrong. He's made a complete mockery of America- he's getting everyone riled up about NOTHING. He hasn't killed anyone and hear yall are criticizing him because he mentions killing in his songs. What rapper doesnt?!? Plus, this Moby stuff is all Moby's fault- who is he to say stuff about Em? Em has said countless times that if everybody just leaves him alone, then he has nothing to say. He doesn't look for fights; fights look for him. Moby slammed Em's music, so now Em is after Moby- accept the consequences. But anyone who takes Em's words about killing and slaying seriously has problems- every rapper writes lyrics like that, it's just that Em actually has found a way to make America care about what he says. That's a genius. Like Em once wrote, "How much damage can you do with a pen?"

Well if you listen to rap, you hear that more than half the rappers talking about killling.. I have nothing but love for Eminem, he tells everything like it is. Well, in discussion, people usually leave some room in their views to allow a discussion. So what makes you different from Eminem saying he kills people in his songs. No matter how much I dislike someone, unless they are a criminal, I would never wish someone to die. No I expected Eminem fans to get in a tiff, like they did and I expected to laugh at them, like I am. I guess I should make myself more clear when I post. When I say "die" I mean it as figuratively die from the Puplic view and from my radio or Tv screen. I dont wish him actual death.
