Beasley will but up Melo type numbers just you watch. That boy couldn't develop cause Wade was always dominating the ball and a coach that didn't know what to do with him. And all they had to give up was a 2nd round pick?

I think the Wolves roster is now the most fascinating in the league.

    Flynn/Sessions
    Webster/Brewer
    Beasley/Johnson
    Jefferson/Love
    Millic/Pekovic/Hollins

Just a bizarre and eclectic collection of talent.

Way to get the most out of the #2 overall pick Miami. I'm guessing they're too giddy to care.

I don't blame the Heat for dumping Beasley. He belongs on a bad team where he can free-stroke without expectations or pressure. He's not a player that a contender can rely on. Minny would be a great place for him to play as long as they remain a lottery team.

Two Brewer's in the NBA. Corey Brewer in Minny and Ronnie Brewer that's a FA.

Wow, huge dumb moment from me. Duh. How can I forget that toothpick.

I still dont understand how Miami didnt at least get Wayne Ellington in return for Beasley. Funny how his stock dropped that quick....2nd rounder

Ellington would have been just what the doctor ordered for Miami. Cheap shooter who could develop into a pretty decent player. He knows how to find his spots, too. Come on Riley!!

Hmm. Tell me who on the T-Wolves would be the equivalent of Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook.

    [crickets chirping]

I don't think their team looks ANYTHING like the Thunder.

Miami now gets a 4.9 trade exception. They can split that up to say someone like brad miller and cj watson.

They use it as capspace to make sure the big 3 are signed

But imagine if you add a past first dude like Rubio to that team. And dump Jefferson for a true center to play alongside Love (I have NO IDEA who that would be).

I still think that's a solid team on paper.

No trade exception if they are under the cap. Just more cap room to sign the Big Three, or possibly (if the Big Three still agree to take pay cuts) to go out and sign Mike Miller or even re-sign Heat lifer Udonis Haslem.

(BTW, if the Rockets didn't already have so many promising PFs, Haslem is a guy I'd love for Morey to go after. Too bad. He'll be a great signing for some team this summer.)

Apparently all of Pat Riley's blood has rushed out of his brain with all this Big 3 excitement....

I refuse to believe you can't get more from Beasley than that. He should have got more for any player that posts 15 and 6 nightly...even a guy on the downside of his career. But we are talking about a 21 year old super athletic kid who posts 15 and 6 with only upside to account for.

    ****ing horrible.

I don't think Rubio is ever going to play there. I also apparently don't think as highly of Kevin Love as most people here.

The T-Wolves roster doesn't impress me. It has "mediocre at best" written all over it. Tell me, which of their young players will develop into stars?

They look pathetic on paper to me. Maybe they go from 15 to 25 wins. YAY! :(

To bad we don't have the Twolves' picks. That would be money in the bank.
