    If he just left rockets?
    No.

If Yao left with that kind of broadcasting and show no respect to rocket organization and fans?
    Yes.

In either case, I suspect Cleveland fans would have handled the situation the same way regardless of how LeBron presented it.

I didn't even burn my David Carr or Tmac jerseys. Just sold them in a garage sale for a few bucks.

I would never burn an ex Rocket jersey. Why? No point. Now I would burn other player jersey that I hate such as Tim Duncan, Boozer, AK47, etc.

I wonder how many "real" cavs fans are left

I think the better analogy would have been if Dream had done some **** like this. Yao is important, but this team has been successful before him and will be after him. You can't say that about Lebron.

It's not the same. Cavs fans have nothing. They had nothing before he came, and when he arrived it looked to be like a savior. Hometown guy that could take them to a ring.

We at least had success before Yao.

    Yao Ming is not Houston.

    Lebron James is Cleveland.

If he left on those terms.
I'm sorry that was so arrogant.
There's a lot of talent in this league and I'm sure there will be other big trades because other players and teams see this stuff. And they want rings also. We'll be alright because we have an owner that wants to win and a Gm that can put stuff together.

It's all good the NBA is clickish like that sometimes.

Super Arrogant move on all three of their parts. Unselfish no, Arrogant yes.

I wouldn't burn Yao's jersey if he left the Rockets, but I would totally burn LeBron's jersey tonight if I lived in Cleveland. Yao would not have done it the way LeBron did.

Dream won a championship without building a super team or asking for a one hour special on ESPN.

Probably not... if Biggio or Bagwell had(or Hakeem did during his prime), no... probably not.

LeBron was everything they had. Could you imagine living in that city now?

No, the way LeBron did this was just evil. I really thought that by doing this stupid 1 hour conference on ESPN that he was staying in Cleveland.

Good point about Lebron representing Cleveland.

Yao is a transplant, so I think the emotions would be different.

I think that is a little overboard .. He left, that is sad for the city of Cleveland, but again it's a business, I mean Hakeem Left to pursue his wild hair of wanting to spend a season or 2 in Toronto, I still love Hakeem ... Some people will cry tonight and beat their pillow, he is human and wants to win, CLEARLY his chances of a ring in Cleveland weren't looking too good..

oh well, what can you do...
