great movie, I think most of "The Right Stuff" was shot and set primarily in California during the 50's and 60's.
That's what I was thinking...except Terms of Endearment...b*tches... Well, i dont' get all the love for Rushmore...thought it sucked, but to each his own...And I thought the suburban scenes for Arlington Road were filmed in Pearland, but I could be wrong...
Terms Of Endearment Paris, Texas My best friend is a teenage vampire!! I was going to Milby when they were filming and only a handful of students were used as extras. Another movie that I'm pretty sure was filmed in Houston or parts of Houston is Leningrad Cowboys, the one about a Finnish band playing in the US.
When I was a kid there was a movie that was shot on a freeway about 2 mins. from my house. I never saw the cameras or crew people but there was palm trees and stuff. I don't remember the name, but it was around 1993-94, and looking at the list I think it was The Chase. I heard it was about bank robbers or something.
I think Burt Reynolds got boffed on one of those curvy "parking" areas along Memorial Drive in "The Man Who Loved Women".
You forgot They Still Call Me Bruce. I can't comment on whether it was good because my Mom made us leave the theater because there was a scene that apparently glorified cocaine. My favorites from the list are Brewster McCloud and Rushmore.
Would sb introduce the city Houston for me? I love Houston Rocket in NBA. Every game about Rocket that I will watch. So I want to know more about Houston. The history ,population, city strengths, popular stars...I dream of visiting Toyota centre
