No Max players left to sign though. Good Pickup for the Bulls, this move makes them a top 5 team in the East.

Edit - Assuming James is going to NY or Cleveland.

Boozer at the 4 and Noah at the 5 is a very good rebounding combo.

They are but they aren't completely out of the playoff picture like how the Suns are projected to be without Amare. But, hey, whatever makes Utah fans cringe right?

Absolutely agree. Chicago has it all, at this point - championship-level talent around him, major market, and max money. I see a clear flaw with CLE, NY, NJ and MIA for LeBron, but none with the Bulls...

Crap this really does mean Lebron is going to NY if it's not Cleveland.

I don't think this makes Utah as bad as people are thinking, worse yes, but I bet they still make the playoffs. /cringe

it was better for him to split minutes. He will avg more across the board, but this means they are hard pressed to keep doing that boring pick and roll offense.

Funny thing is Ron used to kill us back when and so did Bloser as a Jazz. Good thing he's headed to the East now.

Milsapp has shown he can play starter's minutes and produce. The big hit is their bench since Paul will obviously be starting now. Again, Boozer leaving Utah makes them worse but they aren't going to miss the playoffs with Jerry Sloan still at the helm.

I'm waiting for 2020 when the Bulls will, once again, get under the salary cap so they can throw max dollars at Doc Rivers' kid because they couldn't land the top free agent that summer.

lol yes, as long as they're unhappy i'm happy. but i'm not so sure they can make the playoffs.

lakers, mavs, thunder, nuggets, blazers, rockets, spurs should all be locks (in no particular order). that's 7 spots. the 8th could be between the jazz, hornets (with paul back), grizzlies with added depth from draft...

who knows. what if they lose korver too? they became much better when they added him.

The Bulls still have a max contract space avaliable. Here's hoping that this deal finally sways Lebron to Chicago.

Well, assuming we're into the playoffs and the suns are out, who could be good enough to take thier playoff spot. Clips? Griz? Yea, I think they're fairly safe.

bad fit in my opinion. They needed an inside presence, but problem with boozer is that he is a ballstopper. You have a young star in Rose who can run like no other, you need to compliment him right, a cheaper option and a better fit would be David Lee in my opinion

The Bulls probably did this because they knew that Lebron was not going to sign with them. A good move IMO. It fills their biggest need (a scoring big). They still have enough money left to sign another one or two players to make them a contender in the East.

Im thinking the Jazz and Suns just became irrelevant in the West.

Pretty good news for us to be honest.

Good at least NY didn't pick him up (also glad the jazzholes got weaker) hope their plans for signing lee and James fall through as well, and hopefully we can pick someone up on the cheap close to the allstar break and make a significant push in the playoffs.
