Not signing Chris Bosh, or LeBron going to NY?

LeBron going to NYK. Not signing Bosh isn't that big of a deal, to me. It would've helped, but not doing it doesn't really hurt. LeBron going to New York does hurt the value of some things the Rockets have.

yao ming getting another season ending injury. I'm pretty sure my view of how successful this season is hinges on whether he can return to old form (permanently)

    Neither.

I don't give a hot damn about LeBron. I'm glad he's not going to be in the West...

Same with Amare and Bosh. While I wanted one of those 2 on our roster, I'm glad Bosh is staying and Amare is playing in the East.

It makes our chances to compete in the West much greater.

I can live w/o Bosh in Houston. Confident in #Rockets mgmt & team (however, LeBron to the Knicks would be a major gut punch)

LeBron going to NY, makes our picks useless. We still have Scola (please lock him up), Hill, and Pat Pat so not having Bosh isn't a major deal.

Nothing I, or frankly, the Rockets can control. Free agents can choose where they want to go.

While hoping for the contrary, I am not particularly worried about either. So what if the Rockets' picks are now lower. The team has a good front office and will move forward intelligently with or without higher picks.
