Just searched my full name. I came up on the top of the 2nd page. It is a genealogy website. I've just learned my paternal grandpa's middle name. My paternal grandma shares a full name with a paternal great aunt(How weird to marry someone with the same first and middle name as your sister). This site traces my family back to before the revolutionary war. I know my uncle has done all the research before, and may be why the website is complete to where it is, but I've never actually seen it before.
searching my full name, a pdf of my thesis is the first result, and then i show up as the 20th result.
Mine starts with the 8th link. Some famous painter has my name then my twitter, a page showing everyone with my name and ages or length of life, and then my facebook.
If I google my full name, I come up first - my linkedIn page. If I just use my middle & last name, Troy Hill, (what I go by), it would be pages before I come up - because there are several towns that have the same name as me.
#1 is linkedin (me) nothing else on the first page is me. I wonder how facebook got bypassed.. oh well, fine with me!
Mine are all about a random character on the TV show Veronica Mars, who had my name (WTF since my name is not common at all)...he appeared in like two episodes, and a Canadian Tennis pro who shares my name...weird.
2nd listing from LinkedIn.com. Other than that, mostly a former governor of Neveda and Alaska. For an unusual spelling of my surname, there are quite a lot of us.
#2 is my personal website. Evidently there's an artist with my same name, and he takes up a few of the other spots around me.
#1 is my Facebook, #6 is my MySpace. The rest of the links on the first page are about my distant cousin and/or his band.
#1 is a Youtube of someone #2 is my LinkedIn If I search on my full name, I'm #3 from some website that publicizes people's personal information.
