I never felt it was either/or situation.

I believe we are getting B. Miller with or without the signing of Bosh.

Yes, a bit, but I knew it was Bosh or no big names. So, I'm not surprised. Guess I'm not looking forward to holding my breath the entire season wondering if Yao will go down, but that's just how it has to be for now.

Morey will be able to get something done eventually though. That I know.

No because it would be an actually upgrade at the backup Center position we've needed since we lost Deke.

    yes
i'd like a star to come in Houston and push us to be contenders
with that said, we can have key star players without paying the max
Morey: show us what ya got

I would not be disappointed not getting any one of the three big FAs but I will be very disappointed if we failed to retain Scola and Lowry without landing one of the big FAs.

42 wins without Yao and with a 6'-6" starting center. If all we add is a legit backup center who knows the system well, I feel ok.

Be prepared for a parade of people telling you that a .500 lottery team is just a few steps away from a championship despite being 8 games out of the last seed in the playoffs.

Miller is fairly washed up, I certainly would be disappointed to see him in Rockets red.

This team is fine without Bosh.....like Morey said, we're good enough to go all the way with Yao coming back. We just need a back up like Brad Miller.

I am sure Scola is breathing a sign of release by now lol......

I actually not sure about giving him away....he has everything that you want out of a player. The ONLY think Chris Bosh had over Scola is blockshot ability and probably rebounding. But Scola more than make up for those deficiency i think with things like hustling, taking charges, being competitive in big games, being smart, good post up trick plays....it's the little things. You can not teach that.

Not at all!! I didn't want the LeBron/Wade dyk rider Bosh here anyways so I am good with just staying as is for the meantime even if it only means adding B Miller... I say we wait until the trade deadline in Feb to do anything if at all.. By that time we will see if Yao is OK and if not, trade him and his expiring contract for something nice!! But who knows with that dude.. He will be OK all season long and then just break in the playoffs.. Happened one too many times already...

Brad will add height and relief minutes for yao. god bless Hayes, but we need someone with a little bit more height. he knows the offense already as well. don't be so down on him. If he can be serviceable and keep yao's minutes down, then we goto the playoffs. just need to be able to stay in the game long enough while Yao is resting.

haywood would be a lot nicer, or even theo ratliff(he'd also be very cheap) just because they bring something that is missing- shot blocking and basket protection, neither of these miller is known for.

im just glad we dont have to trade away a bunch of our players. Miller would be a good sign for the lle or vet min, and it doesnt cost us players.
