So, I guess today is the same as Wednesday (???). Francis said he was going to see Yao play against Germany on Wednesday. Not sure if he did. But that's what he said on ESPN radio.

Now that is a substantiated fact. Jeff, are you done, yet. I didn't question that someone told you "Mo is mopping the floor with Kenny" at Westside. I said you and/or your sources are clueless if you believe a first week full workout July 1st for Maurice Taylor against Kenny means anything about Kenny's Summer regimen or what will happen in October. It is a simple matter of disagreeing with your basketball analysis, and being utterly surprised you'd repeat it for 2 months now. I'm not the only one who has objected to this and question. I'm the only one you've responded to about it, though. We'll see soon enough in camp. "Mopping the floor" is quite a prediction.

Since you don't know who my sources are, your "clueless" rant makes no sense. For all you know, my sources may very well be from the coaching staff or scouting staff. Since you don't really know who I know, calling ME "clueless" is akin to telling me that, if a friend of mine thinks something, I'm an idiot. I don't know WHAT will happen when preseason comes around. I never said I did. I never said that I thought Mo or Kenny would win a spot. Personally, my money is on Griffin's improvement and I could give a **** what happens to Taylor or Thomas. If they all play great, whoop de damn do! I don't take offense to you disagreeing with my opinion but I sure as hell take offense to you calling me stupid, particularly when I didn't even state an opinion of my own in the first place. Maybe in your world, it is ok to call someone a moron for what they were told, but it doesn't fly with most of the rest of us. Besides, I wouldn't be betting anything with your record, crispee.
Thought you said you were done. Jeff, there's no denying I made what could be called an offensive comment for calling you and/or your sources clueless for reading too much into a Maurice first practice in July. If that means "stupid" to you, then understand it was *only* meant about that one claim. I cannot deny that, because I'm flabbergasted anyone could believe such a statement as fact, and repeat it for 2 months. If I dismiss a claim more subtlely, the point of dismissing someone's claim is still on the table, but in the end of the day, bball is a game. We are arguing about a game. I respect your take in much of what you say about bball and in the hangout...I especially respect the type of fan you are. It's always extremely fun to go to games with you. I would *never* say that "100% of what you say is bull****" or "I don't give a f*ck what you think" like has been frequently said about me. I'd just bet you. What I would love to do is finally talk about the comment, but that would be another thread. Several of us have asked you about it in previous weeks, with no answer. We want to know more about Maurice. We want Maurice to be ready, but cannot believe he could be vastly improved on July 1st. touche. But, Eddie was a PF. So I was correct, until we made the dumb trade from Glenn Rice...sigh!
