You hear "in Morey we trust" in the media? If you mean "in ____ we trust", I'm pretty sure that is at least a few centuries old. I can't tell if you're being sarcastic.
@clutchfans Orlando signing Chris Duhon. Bet they wish they took @Klow7 instead of Rafer Alston in '09. They never should have gotten Rockets involved. 17 minutes ago via web
Superstars don't come easily. The smart GMs stockpile assets so they can pounce on it when one is available. Bosh is the first of such chances Morey has. BTW, the dumbest draft strategy is to pick for needs. The smart GMs pick for highest value, and balance the roster by trading.
i kinda disagree because the team in 95 had a bunch of guys that were not household names w/ the dream- k smith castoff from sac town- mad max castoff- o.t.cheap trade- Elie vet castoff suns, no real names before they won a ring
TOTALLY OFF SUBJECT... Can someone tell me what ever happend to Turbo? I moved to San Diego back in 03 and just completely lost track of when Clutch came in and Turbo was replaced...
Or that Scola is an RFA waiting for offers from other teams before matching it. SCOLA HAS TO AGREE TO A SIGN A TRADE TO BE TRADED. You guys act like players are stupid and will blindly agree to everything.
Old Man is speaking the gospel about Morey. However, there is a big difference between having a Plan B,C,D,E,F,G and having a Plan B,C,D,E,F,G that actually works.
what i am saying is you are better off w/o a head case such as Joe barely cares -Bonzi MAKING A MOVE BECAUSE you are going to be left out is no good i really don't think you can be sure where your weakness is besides a back up center until you get too camp thinking we gotta have Bosch or Boozer no matter what the price is wrong also! there is always the deadline &teams willing too fire sale talent when they are out of the playoffs!D.M has had some bad moves but value mistakes you can take & in the case of Dorsey he still got trade mileage out of it so i will take a Morey VALUE mistake over any other g.m.'s mistake ANY DAY!!!!
Unless he's assuming that Yao is the Hakeem for the team. He's mentioning the team around Hakeem, not excluding him. If Yao is the anchor in his mind, his point isn't without merit. You could even argue that the role and bench players around Yao is stronger than what Hakeem had.
He's jumping on trampolines and dunking basketballs with a bunch of kids. He made it pretty far on America's Got Talent last season.
