Many people praise Morey and hate on James, but really they are very similar.

They both are pretty good at PR: Morey with his twitter, interviews, etc.

    Lebron - ESPN, Nike, etc

They both put up good stats:

    Lebron: 30-7-9

Morey:numerous good draft picks and deals

They both haven't won anything yet.

There seems to be plenty of Morey love and Lebron hate.

    Why is that?

Wait for the Lebron love when he becomes a Rocket.

We're comparing a General Manager versus a Player in this read. Did I read that right?

But seriously, what Lebron hate? The Rockets won't get him, but I'd bet 90%+ of the people here would love to have him as a Rocket and Daryl Morey would be driving the welcome wagon (or caravan) if that happens.

So, who wins a ring first, Morey or Lebron?

As is, I like LeBron. The guy seems to really want to win, and he has a hell of a work ethic to play at the caliber he does. I think Morey is a shark dressed as a guppy. He's much different than LeBron in the sense that people undervalue Morey. Honestly, if other people in the league saw Morey as who he is we would never be able to pull off a trade because no team would trust us.

If Lebron comes to Rockets, I will love this guy, definately!
Actually, if Lebron makes decision to stay in CLV, he cant win the title obviously. So just come to Rockets.

I'm picturing Morey entering a press conference, powder up his hands and throwing up the powder in the air as he sits down at the table. Then he and Adleman do a little dance for the reporters.

I hope that answers your question.

If James stays in Cleveland a lot of Labron hatred will go down. That'd show some true loyalty imo when he could just easily bounce to Chicago and be in a better team.

Lebron is a jerk. Morey is brilliant and mannered.

Jerome is just a hater. I am not hating on anyone just pointing out the hypocrisy of the haters.

If Lebron could get the Rockets Martin, Hill, two first round picks, Central Park, and the rice and chicken place by trading a Landry and a trashed TMac, we'd all love him too.

Well, for one, Morey's job is to bring in the best possible players he can... and he's done exactly that.

LeBron's job is to carry his team deep into the playoffs... which he's failed at the past couple of years, including the worst one (this year), when the Cavs were able to get Antwan Jamison for practically nothing at all and he got taken down in the 2nd round.

Did we send an ipad to Lebron? Did we contact him at all? I have not seen anything about Houston contacting his agent to see if he was interested.

No we did not. Only FAs/FA agents we've talked to or at least touched based with are that of Bosh, Brad Miller, and David Lee.

Morey's job is the same as the lebron to win a championship. This is what I mean by the double standard.
