You guys are funny! It's not like he's asking about John Stockton, Karl Malone or Jeff Hornaceck to come here! Boozer would actually go pretty well on this team!
You can't possibly enjoy posting on this website. There are only a few players in the NBA that would probably not be welcome here in Clutch City.....and Carlos Boozer is one of em'. Maybe you can just start posting on dream shake or something.
why didnt you just keep it in the other thread? Would would have realized this is not a popular option...not just because he's a jazz/former jazz, but because he's not the PF worth benching scola over. If we're trading or benching scola its to get a star Pf with size.
i see where your going with this... <a href="http://photobucket.com/images/ban%20him" target="_blank"><img src="http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l14/el_boxer/banville.jpg" border="0" alt="Ban Him Pictures, Images and Photos"/></a>
do yall want to ban everyone on clutchfans now? if thats the case, we wont have anyone left to visit the website. lol
WTF!? If Malone or especially Stockton in his prime were available to the Rockets, I'd take either in a heartbeat. The same with Deron Williams. If a player is truly great enough, I will live and overcome their inherent Jazz stink. The problem is that Boozer is an AWFUL fit for this team ON TOP OF BEING A JAZZ. Recommending crappy Jazz players that will only screw this team is why the thread OP needs to be BANNED.
For Boozer? You guys have some issues. People asking about a legitimate powerforward who can upgrade us get ban posters? Yet Yao hobbling off court every year and handicapping your team is more acceptable? Got our priorities backwards in clutch fans. Boozer is a good fit even despite our Rockets hatred for the Jazz. Its the perfect way to take their player and ban them from the playoffs ever again. Some of you just arent vindictive enough to actually want to hurt the Jazz in a way thats really a real Rockets fans dream. Take their player and win a Championship with him while they sit at home with no playoffs.
Ban me then. Stop talking about trying to ban someone. Thats rude in the first place over a player. There are hundreds of sites in the internet. I just wish to make this team better.
I'm curious to see what Josh Childress' market value is and if he would be a viable option to come off the bench behind Martin. Brooks/Lowry Martin/Childress Ariza/Battier/Budinger Scola/Patterson Yao/Hayes/Hill Thoughts?
What's so legitimate about him? He's barely a 20 and 10 guy. I'm willing to bet if scola was in boozers shoes (long NBa career and go to guy for a team, scola would have put up 20 and 10 consistently over at least 3 seasons, maybe more. That may not be alot better than boozer, but even if it was the same it would mean Boozer isn't that much better than Scola. Scola doesnt block shots, neither does boozer. Neither shoots 3s. Scola is a better FT shooter, boozer has a better FG%. Steals are comparable. Is aboozer a defensive whiz? Hardly. There's no reason to waste assets and bring in twice the salary scola may get for someone who overall is about the same, except for somewhat better d. Now bosh, he's going to bring length, some shot blocking, same rebounding, better scoring, some 3 pt shooting, solid Ft% and Fg%, etc. That's a significant improvement over scola. It's not just about bringing a "legitimate Pf", we have one already. It's about bringing someone that's significantly better than ours.
Should we give AI a chance? Grapevine news has spread that Iverson wants to make a come back in the NBA. Even though he's over the hill, this guy can still play off the bench. Should we offer him a veteran exception or maybe a bi-annual exception?
