    I think it's jumped the shark.

    It used to be something I always looked forward to since the early 2000s.

    Jumped the shark is from an episode of Happy Days where Fonzie did just that...on waterskis...you can give my rep to someone else though..I try not to worry about it overmuch

    Now it's ehh.

    Kobe yashi didn't show up because of contract issues. CONTRACT ISSUES.

    Just show up, break the dogs, dip the bread and swallow it. He wasn't there (sort of) because of contractual problems.

    I think under the Major League Eating, Kobayashi would only be getting around the MLE, while he obviously was looking for the max. I don't know tho, he's 32, seems awfully old for a max.
