THe cleveland comparison sucks because these chose to go after the worng layers. Mo Williams, Shaq, Jammison.

Everyone knew those guys were trash and wouldn't help.

I'm not saying we need to change our team to beat the lakers but think about it?

Bosh and Yao play on different sides of the court because Boh is a Lefty and the right side is great for him. Yao posts down low the left and hits fade aways.

It's extremely efficient and Bosh demands a double team. I love Scola but he was getting outrebounded by the Lakers size every game this year. We were screaming in the chat room about the loose balls, tip ins, Offensive rebounds. We need a taller, longer PF or we need a PG that can rebound.

Ahhh yes, when all else fails...you're stupid

Your input concerning doctors and teachers, has to do with importance of the job and career, not whether they are worth it...

The point, which you still can't fathom is the spending of money on things, or people(in sports)simply to do so, because you can...and simply because you can doesn't mean it's worth it...a la TMAC.

And no, i'm not the only person on here that thinks so, but then I suppose I should just follow along and be part of the in crowd...

Chris Bosh is the new Juwon Howard... everyone was hyping that guy up when he became a free agent and it's the same exact thing with this scrub.

    I don't want bush.

I think we need another perimeter star, not a hyped up MAX dollar 4 to replace our more than adequate Scola.

i have fallen out of Bosh excitement too. How good can a Beta male be? Who hangs onto his friends jock strap when deciding his whole lifes future around it? I mean following a guy is one thing but dinner and secret meetings with him everywhere? come on now? I since some feelings there??? I dont know it looks special though. I cant get in the way of love.

That is a fair and respectable debate, it did work out for Gasol and the lakers, and on the flip side it didn't work out for the Rockets and TMAC...

Is it possible no doubt, i'm not one to say Bosh doesn't help this team, i believe he does, but for those that say Bosh is just a HUGE upgrade over Scola, that's not being realistic. Both of their respective numbers indicate otherwise.

Bosh does bring height, and length no doubt, but does he work as hard for loose balls, does he hustle every game like Scola does? Honestly no he doesn't, not saying Bosh is a Vince Carter type, but he isn't the dive on the floor nightly Scola either.

There is a good and bad point for keeping either of them.

I don't agree on him getting a Max money deal, but if Houston can keep the core basically intact, and not have to give up more than we need to, then i can deal with Morey giving the max to get him here.

This Wade thing turned me off of him more than anything. Everything i check upo him he is draped all over his friends press clippings going out to dinner together and insisting he be wherever and in whatever meeting Wade goes to. He wants to be his sidekick at all costs. That tells me he cant possible be an Alpha male wanting to carry a team by himself or capable. Just so enamoured withthis whole trio or duo concept. They even stay in the same hotel together i think

Whether anyone here wants Bosh or not is pretty much irrelevant. I trust Morey. Morey wants Bosh and thinks he will help us win a title. That's good enough for me.

Hill and Patterson never got to play the Flakers in a Rockets uni. So this is just your unwarranted opinion.

Every other team had their stars intact. It is more than just a 42-40 season, it's what was accomplished during the season that stands out. A starless team with only role players went 1-3 against Lakeshow(champs), 2-2 against Mavs, 4-0 against OKC, 1-1 against Celtics and 1-1 against the so-called Kings Cavs. This is what matters the most when you don't have a true center or a star on your team. They outplayed everyones expectations, including yours. Don't hate, appreciate. You know what, i feel a new thread coming on!!

We need length if we even want to think about competing with the Lakers. The roster we have right now could be capable of taking on the Lakers, but I wouldn't bet on them beating them, especially if the rumors about them trying to get Bell/McGrady are true.

If anything, I don't understand why our substitute for Bosh would be Melo, you're just asking for another McGrady fiasco to happen again.

this is a good opportunity to grab a top tier player. if melo was on the market, and we had a good chance to get him, by all means. but that`s not the case.

I understand what you are saying and i am feeling some what the same. 6 years is a very long time to be tied down to a player who isn't self motivated.

Actually, you're the only person that wouldn't pay the max to any NBA player...that's just complete illogical thinking on your end.

Exactly where did I say that? Oh that's right, I never did, but nice deflection...

Tis funny when people just start throwing out random crap...

I'd gladly pay the max to Kobe or Lebron, Howard, Paul, and possibly Durant given how consistent he ends up being.

But you miss the point, AGAIN...Simply because as an owner, I would pay the Max to get a player is not indicative on whether or not I feel that player is WORTH the max...

Which was the point of my initial post.

Also, that I've clearly stated I have no issue with Morey spending the max as long as it doesn't gut the team.
