I remember him saying that he really liked Houston as a city and he'd live here even after being done coaching the Rockets. He also made a remark during one the ABC games this year about "making the 3 hour drive" to see the Spurs play someone.
more like terrible luck with the refs (dallas series) Mcgrady fading and not attempting a shot in the final 4 minutes of game 7 vs the **** at toyota center and Yao-or any Rocket- giving up like 3 offensive rebounds that essentially eliminated us.. I dont place fault on JVG we shoulda advanced he did all he could the players needed to dig deep and close it out but couldnt.. ahhh, the bad memories
Same, around West University too. I told him he was good, but Mark Jackson has to go. He laughed. IIRC he said he would consider coaching again after he's done spending time with family.
He lives in West U so a lot of folks always see him around that area. I know he's been seen at the Whole Foods on Kirby and W. Alabama. I kinda wish I could see what JVG could do with our current roster. I know people would complain about his slow offenses, but he had pretty weak rosters while he was our coach. Ryan Bowen? Clarence Weatherspoon? David Wesley? Rafer Alston and his 2-12 nights? We've come a long way...
People are self moderating their own titles to not make any sense, because they preemptively fear the cool story bro meme. This individual freedom has died from the fear of terrorism, be a patriot and name your threads appropriately. It is the fourth of July for Zeus sakes....End Rant
