I am not above calling anyone a super white cracker. I think it is funny. Is "whitebread" better?

You are trying to establish paramaters for culture? Hmm...what defines culture? More than fashion and entertainment...how about:

    Fashion
All ends of mass media (television, radio, movies, magazines, comics, etc)
Visual Art (including installations and performance)
Literature (including poetry, prose, novels - traditional to postmodern)
    Dialect/language
    Cultural "norms" and rules
    Dance
    Symbolic signifiers

I am sure there is more that I am leaving off...but what more would you like to consider it a cultural movement?

Again, you don't have to promote it in order to admit that it exists as an organic movement.

    Rimbaud-

Man ease up on the slurs, brother. Not all white people enjoy being called "whitebread" or "super white cracker". How would you like it if you were referred to by an equally offensive name like "spook" or "coon"? You probably wouldn't like it.

We're all just Rockets fans here, am I wrong? No need for the hate.

I can't believe O'Reilly has that kind of pull.

You just answered a question I have had for almost a year. I was wondering why Springsteen played "My City of Ruins" (a good song) instead of "Born in the USA" during the 9-11 TV Tribute last year with all the celebrities.

He'd probably laugh at you seeing how he's not a "spook" or a "coon".

    I mean, he's alive and he's not a raccoon...or he's a damn good typist for a dead animal.

I've been told that I'm pretty good with peanut butter, so I guess I am either a whitebread or super white cracker....maybe both.

How could you label someone trash without ever meeting that person. I've seen the first ad Ludicras had for Pepsi and it wasn't offensive at all. O'Reilly just needs to worry about other important issues and so do you. You have really pissed me off by that comment.

Well it is an hour-long show...it only took him about 5 minutes to get this guy canned. After that they moved on to other "tougher" issues.

Way to support your boy Freak. ;)

In all seriousness, does anyone know where the term cracker comes from? I know people find it derogatory but where in the heck did that come from? The word honestly means nothing to me in terms of race... just curious.

Worrying about a rapper and a pepsi commercial is really stunting the growth of our youth. There are far more issues more important and if you totally agree with O'Reilly, then you need help too.

    Actually I found this:

Cracker--This term is said to have originated in England before the 16th century, refering to the lower class whose diet primarily consisted of "crackers", actually biscuits. Many of their descendants were sent to the Georgia penal colony, hence "Georgia crackers." White people had invented this name for themselves before the first slave was brought to America, although it is still in use today by mostly older blacks referring to whites.

from the following very interesting(or disturbing, depending on how you look at it) website.

I neither agree nor disagree with O'Reilly. Why don't you stick to the subject and answer my question?

    What is O'Reilly's job?

I'm going to take the definition with a grain of salt after finding this, Cas:

Cookie (2) | Blacks | Robert De Niro calls Cuba Gooding this in Men of Honor

lol... yeah, because he was a cook when they first met. :)
