Cool article I found at http://heartofchampion.com/home/
Interesting take, I personally think whenever LeBron wins a ring his status will be re-affirmed as one of the greatest players ever to grace the court no matter who he plays for. I loved the Dream stats though, didn't realize he went off like that in the Finals

I mean, he's only 25....he's got so much time. People forget that Jordan won his first ring when he was 28.

Disagree. It's not age, it's miles. Your body can only run up the court so often before it breaks down. Jordan started later and took two years off to fiddle around with baseball, so he can play later. Lebron on the other hand has had incredible mileage for a 25 year old, given he started so early and has played deep in the playoffs so much. One can after all observe that aside from Kobe, who sadly has a work ethic that outclasses Lebron for now, all those high school NBA players have had serious problems around 30 compared to college player, like T-Mac and Jermaine O'Neal.

Lebron has many years, but not as much as people would like to think.

    Wait.
People are b*tching about Kobe . . because he played with Shaq
    but
LeBron would be the greatest . . even if he is playing with BOSH and/or DWADE?

sounds like a bunch of crap to me

    thank god somebody understands finally.

and honestly once Lebron's "drive to the basket game" is over, he will decrease. He is not a great shooter. MJ and Kobe are/was/were

yea thats the difference betweent kobe jordand and lebron, jordan and kobe rely on their midrange and skillset which is not all about their athleticism, lebron's bread and butter is getting inside and either drawing the foul or finishing, so when kobe and mj lose that first step of athleticism, they can evolve their game pretty fast with their skillset since it wasn't full reliant on it anyway(just like kobe had to this year as he lost a step clearly but was able to adjust), lebron when he loses his first step will be much more effected and way less effective so his longevity of his dominance isn't like the others IMO

That's because Shaq was the best player in the game while Bosh and D-Wade are not.

He'll never be considered the all time best. He'd need to lead a team to seven championships for that, and he's starting too late.

Kobe is unique. He's been good for an extremely long time for an NBA player and especially a high school player. I don't see Lebron being great for as long.

Lebron needs a ring. Otherwise, he's not top 10 of all time.

If you don't think Lebron can improve his jumpshot to be more multidimensional (Jordan and Kobe like) as he ages, then you haven't watched him play much.

if you don't think Lebron can improve his passing to be more multidimensional (Magic like) as he ages, then you haven't watched him play much.

If you think that Lebron can be the same player once he's on the physical decline, you haven't watched him play much.

Do you really think anyone 5 years ago thoguht that T-Mac a perennial top 6-7 MVP candidate would be this pathetic now?

I've never heard anyone describe Eddie House as a player who's all athleticism and can't shoot.

I think that Lebron will be able to remodel himself as he loses his athleticism differently than Kobe/Jordan. He's not a SG like them, but I think as he gets slower, he will move to the PF position and play a game like an enhanced Karl Malone.

I personally think that Lebron will be able to play at a high level well into his late 30s.

An enhanced Karl Malone? Lebron has no post game at all. Karl Malone is one of the top 5 PFs of all time and an aged Lebron can match him?

Ridiculous. Once Kobe gets 7 rings you'll be saying "well until he hits a jumper of byron russell in the finals ..." lol. The guy cant win for losing
