Potential Backup C, Haywood, would be too expensive for us.

    Awe shucks. I really wanted Haywood to be our backup C, but $10M per year is far too much. I say he is off the table for backup C's now.
    I guess Miller is our best option unless we develop one of our young PF's into a C.

    Just your friendly public CF announcement that may stop future threads regarding Haywood pop up. Yes it is ironic because this is a Haywood thread, but it is good to simply let the CFers know in order to cross him off our wishlist.

    Haywood was never a potential backup C.

    He was a starter, has offers to be a starter, and earn starter money.
