i dont think they can go for 3 max FAs...its the same miami scenario in that case and the problem was not having enough left for a supporting cast... as for the "wade-lebronj partnership".....notice that there's no mention of lebron's own opinion, just name....all this could mean is that wade is intrigued by chicago pitching how great that partnership would work out, assuming Lebron also agreed to it....it doesn't mean that they know lebron will commit to them if wade does....so it's just a sales pitch, no different than what Houston wanted to do with bosh and JJ (come with us and we'll try to get him too).
I listened in on the radio a little late but I do know for sure that the Lebron presentation was unimpressive, my guess by 'the striking out' part he meant the big 3. He put up an article just about the same time he got on the air. Here it is:

I keep hearing David Lee's name pop up in sign and trades for Bosh, consider this however, the Knicks have basically ignored the guy from the very beginning. He is not a Max guy so the extra incentive to do a S&T isn't there, I'd be VERY careful if I were the Knicks because I don't think Lee is up for doing them any favors at this point.
That was pretty damn funny! These drama queens are turning the NBA into Wade's divorce court episode. The only thing that could be worst is if we get Jason Kidd beating up his ex on video :grin: :grin: I want all these queens to end up playing on the same team and than watch the disaster unfold and net them zero titles. I will root for L.A. agaisnt these guys and it's the only way I'd ever root for the Lakers.

I think that if Wade were the first shoe to drop (in Chicago) that the Bulls would try to hold out for Lebron as well before offering Bosh. If the Bulls essentially removed themselves from the Lebron sweepstakes before he officially ruled them out, that would be a serious WTF moment.
