Wow lots of lower class NBA citizens are getting over paid in this last year of the CBA.

Actually, I do think Trevor improved after Martin showed up but not as much as some people think. He was still pretty bad on offense but took fewer shots thanks to Martin's arrival. It wasn't about him being out of position so much as learning his place in the pecking order. I still don't believe his overrated defense is worth his ineptitude on offense but I suspect his efficiency will improve on that end. In the end, I still think he is overpaid by Morey standards so he will always be a problem to me until he is moved or until he gets his FG to 45%+ and his three point shooting into the upper 30%s. Didn't care much for his attitude either.

So in the forthcoming seasons when Trevor completely tracks Matt Barnes you'll say what?

Wait, what? Just because Fisher has a ring doesnt mean his career is better...thats like saying Chucky Brown had a better career than Karl Malone.

Fisher's career high in ppg is 13.3.
Fisher's career high in apg is 4.3.
    He's shot 40% for his career...not good.
Averaged 9 ppg and 3 apg game in his career, lol.

Fisher cant sniff the careers of DWill and CP3...championships have to do with teams, not individuals.

Trevor owns giving up three layups for every steal he gets since he would rather gamble to try to get the rock from his man than play straight up, in-your-face defense like Barnes is more than willing to do.

Not going to bash you for this statement like some have, but I do think it is a bit of an over statement. If you look at athleticism, productivity, and age, one can't really argue that Barnes is a better option than Ariza.

The one thing I will argue in favor of Barnes is there is no questioning his fire and competitive spirit. That guy is a gamer and a competitor. It has been argued on this board many times that Ariza may have a busted Give-A-Crap meter. I'm not sure the criticism is fair, but some have suggested that when the lights are on he seems too laid back and looks like he is about to fall asleep or get a severe case of the munchies. Conversely, In the case of Barnes, I don't think anyone on this board can question his game interest or effort level. If anything, he is too emotional come game time.

For the record, despite the spacey look and emotionless expression, I see in Ariza a guy that is 100% all the time, but I could be wrong.

Foolish and afraid, nice way to go through life....BTW..... here was your first post that started it...in case you have the capacity to learn from your mistakes.

So, if you want to discuss things in a calm manner, we can do that, if you want to toss crap out, be prepared to get smacked back.

As much as I hate Fisher I can't deny he's clutch as hell. His 3 point shots are the stuff of legend. What are the ways we clown Barkley, Malone, Stockton? We say "No rings". That says something doesn't it?

Our own #4 re-sign Scola and get a back-up Center that could start if ask to....Brad Miller, Tyson Chandler, or Brenden Haywood would be nice

    Yao/Miller/Hayes
    Scola/Hill/Patterson
    Ariza/Battier/Jefferies

    rather than

    Yao/Hill/Hayes
    Bosh/Patterson
    Jefferies/???

in both cases I consider Chase a back-up 2 guard

If Trevor gets his shooting percentages back up and plays a more disciplined style of defense I'll say he is a better player than Matt Barnes and that picking him up was a pretty good idea.

Oh, and it would be nice if he wouldn't throw tantrums on the court when he doesn't get the chance to brick a jumper.

How is the MLE overpaid for like a 24 year old with potential? A 24 year old who showed he can ball on the biggest stage?

Yes, he was on a great team, but we saw Ariza IMPROVE once Martin came aboard. We'll see how Ariza does when YAO comes back too.

Cut him some slack. MLE players aren't meant to be 20PPG scorers.

The thing is, that you seem to get the capacity to understand the word..."ARGUABLY" when put into the sentence.

I did not say BARNES WAS BETTER, just that some people could argue he is better.

There is a big difference, but the Ariza apology brigade apparently doesn't understand contextual meaning.

What I do think, is that you can get the same production for a lot less money by having Barnes on your team as you would with Trevor.

You should post last season's stats if you wanted to be honest.

Of course, by your logic (and herro's) we should have never traded McGrady to NY considering his career numbers are some of the best in league history. I guess Morey was more of a "what have you done for me lately" guy too.

Even if not successful, it sounds like a good scorched earth policy to cripple whoever does get the s+t offer.

Agreed. If you combine team impact with financial ramifications, it is a virtual wash.

Must be nice playing with Dwight, Rashard, Jameer, and Vince Carter

    Compared to Scola + Brooks
