Brazil is simply dominating and making the Netherlands play panicked. They've done well to keep Robben from making that cut inside and keep attacking the weak middle of the Netherlands defense.

If the Netherlands quits trying to force feed the right side, making themselves very predictable, they might be able to open it up some. Let Kuyt do some work.

    Oh, that. Yeah...that was stupid.

It's been used in the amateur leagues to catch teams off guard. Doesn't really work at this level...against Brazil.

Brazilians whining about every calls against them is kind of annoying;I'd like to see the Ref giving some yellow cards to Maicon, Fabiano or even Dunga for arguing the calls.

But they have played pretty good so far.

Maicon had a corner at the end that didn't get called

Did not think Brazil would be this good on defense, they;ve really given no space for the Dutch offense to operate.

Brazil capitalized on that one mistake on defense, other than that they havn't really bothered the goalie all that much, neither side really has produced great chances.

Hope the second half produces more open futball.

the stakes are high my friend. If the dutch don't show up in the next half Brazil will make it to final.

Also don't cards get cleared after this round?

That might be just a mistake by Robben, who may want somebody else kick the corner but accidentally touched the ball himself.

This game is definitely living up to the hype. Very exciting.

Robben is killing the offense. "Let me slowly dribble towards the box and wait until I am surrounded before I do anything". Also a terrible dive and acting job there to set up the goal.

This is very unlike Brazil. 35-0-2 could become 35-1-2
