what if Steve would have made it to the USA national team

    I was just wondering what if Steve would have made it to the USA national team and got out played by Ming. Do you all think that would have affected the Chemistry of the up coming Houston team? Been that Yao is the new kid on the block getting the better of the team leader? What do y'all think?

    It depends. Are you saying that Steve keeps driving and gets stuffed by Yao 7 times, or Yao just scores more or something like that? Because it is hard comparing a guard to a center.

    If you mean the 1st, I think it could benefit the 2. Steve would realize just how good he is, and would know how he plays. He give him respect and would probably like him better.

    Or he'd hate him and demand a trade. I don't know. :confused:

    I think Francis would realize just how hard it is to get a shot up around the basket with a player like Ming down low. He would then think, "Man I really don't have to worry about playing any D next year!"

    I think Francis will be surprised like just other nba players were... He probably will have more confidence of having yao ming as his teammate.......:D
