this is false Amare has performed extremely well in the playoffs as a whole

i really cant believe i am respond to such a silly post but

you realize that Morey already did try to trade Scola for Amare at the deadline last season? If phoenix would have agreed to a physical it would be Scola being resigned out in the desert and Morey wondering if Amare is worth the max or trying to sign and trade Amare to another team for players.

I'd rather give them Ariza than Battier.
    And keep Brooks.

I'm a bit puzzled by why we are targeting Bosh as our #1 guy in this free agent market. To me, what we really need is a superstar wing player to complement Yao Ming. May be, Morey thought that we do not have any chance to get Lebron or Wade so he targeted Bosh since he is almost certain to leave Toronto. Otherwise, from the needs perspective, PF is not what we need the most. I'm not sure if Martin is really the answer at the wing position.

If Yao were healthy, I'd agree with you. However, Morey is trying to upgrade the roster while protecting the team if Yao doesn't recover well from foot surgery. Bosh and Amare can both play center, and Yao is up for free agency next summer.

Both Bosh and Amare specifly said they will not play center. I don't think either of them will come to Houston because no one knows exactly how reliable Yao's health.

Couldn't we include our $3.1 million trade exception?
