Miller does seem like the perfect fit for LA. I don't know how much he has left, but I guess that doesn't matter for a team gambling on how much Kobe has left(and Phil for that matter). ....btw, are you guys sure LA is using the MLE? I was under the impression they used the MLE to get Artest last year.
Each team over the cap receives a MLE each offseason. The bi-annual exception can only be used every other year.
he shot 50% from the field, 48% from 3, 82% from the line last year, and ur saying he's unreliable?? are you serious or do you just comment without getting your facts str8?
The Lakers have like 6 exprings... one of those is Adam Morrison who was hogging about 6 or 7 mil... so doesn't this take the place of that? Or this really the MLE?
The Lakers are over the salary cap regardless of their expiring contracts. Unless they do a sign and trade with Washington, they have to be offering the MLE.
Doesn't matter how many expirings you have, over the cap is over the cap. This has to be the MLE, there is nothing else it could be.
If Chicago doesn't get LeBron, this would be the best signing in the NBA. The missing piece to fix the only hole in the Lakers roster, a bonafide shooter.
My opinion is that Mike Miller sucks. I understand his stats are somewhat decent, however if I recall it was really limited playing time. Hes on the downside of his career, and I think his athleticism has gone down the drain. I'll be happy as a rockets fan if he takes that contract. 2 cents. Peace.
Mike Miller = Solid Role player, great shooter, above average rebounder at his position, great assist numbers, decent free throw shooter, assest to a team. Came for the update on tonights deadline to see where this guy goes.
