You could probably also set up some out of the way message board and have people upload stuff via mediafire or megaupload or what have you.
theirs did last time I checked....I was debating on getting rid of my tracker domain and using TPB, but at the rate that trackers are being shut down, decided against it.
****. That was an awesome site. It was one of the most educational site especially most of the science videos that I've been to.
Itll only get worse for the movie industry when bandwidth capacity improves. And they know it. They probably like the internet throttled as is. I'll admit, I recently downloaded a bootlegged live camera shot movie thats currently in the theater that I'd NEVER pay to go watch. I don't have DVR but if I did I'da just waited for it to show on cable and recorded it. Still, the process of trying to find it everywhere, all the fake torrents, all the file hosting sites like mediafire that STILL delete copyrighted content, then not having a premium account to those file host sites, then the waits and delays between downloading the video in 5 different links, and hoping people seed it in the torrent. Then once it finished the quality was TERRIBLE. It really wasnt even worth it. Pirating is good if its a mediocre movie has a rumored nude scene and you want to see it leaked right away on your pc, skipping the awkwardness in the theater. I live 8 blocks from the theater. Woulda been just as timely and efficient to go pay 5-10 dollars and watch the whole movie live in full presentation mode, the whole thing home and back taking 2.5 hours. LESS time than all the search time and anticipation of finding it online.
