I think Francis and Mobley proved themselves when they lead the team to 45 wins with a thin frontcourt. Last year's team was ravaged so badly with injuries it didn't matter. But when it was reasonably healthy it started the season off very well. Ming hasn't proven anything, but neither has any draft pick this year yet people are projecting what Jay Williams or Drew Gooden are doing. So it's fair that people can project what Ming will do.
