I understand people here want Bosh, but at what price?

Boozer had a really good year, but I think he's definitely a notch below Bosh and Stoudemire. He also got raped pretty hard by the Lakers. Maybe he's Morey's 3rd option. But not if he is asking for a max deal.

Artest has a championship ring. Is he available?

I am more upset about Jordan Hill and the 1st rd pick than losing AB. I like brooks and all but he is not in the top level of point guards. He is really good, but not great. But him and Kyle do make a really good duo at point guard.

No way I'd give up Brooks. His speed, combined with his ability to create his own shot, sends coaches like phil jaxxxson into panic attack mode. I mean give him(brooks) some f*****g credit.

You wouldn't do Brooks for Bosh straight up?

I wouldn't....only because it would leave us a glut at PF and very weak at PG.

I am looking at the overall roster as opposed to just looking all starry eyed at a shiny object in the stream.

Uh, it won't be our last move. If we get Bosh and are weak at PG, Morey has the ability to go out and sign or trade for a new point guard.

Not wanting to trade Brooks for Bosh straight up is crazy.

    Great, who?

Let me use an analogy for you, at one point the Spurs were going to trade Tony Parker and bring in Jason Kidd (a better player, right), they didn't instead they decided to let the young player mature.

Now, 3 championships later...well...you get the idea.

I really hope we don't trade Brooks for him. The combination of Brooks and Lowry means so much to this team.

i don't think your list is gonna work, Toronto definitely is asking more.
i'd like give up AB, Battier and Jeffries to get Bosh.

To clear cap space and get some high draft picks to rebuild around.

Clearly they are going into rebuild mode without Bosh.....so they need all the picks they can get.

Would you give up the Knicks picks along with Battier, Jeffries, and Hill?

Yes, and I would give up Patterson too.......

We are loaded at SF and PF....I would give up any picks, Llull, and any of the following players.

    1. Scola
    2. Jeffries
    3. Battier
    4. Ariza
    5. Patterson
    6. Hill

To get him.....because that does not weaken us at another position...

Straight up, I would. But people are suggesting brooks plus picks and Martin. That's insane, especially if the knicks do get shut out in the FA process, those picks will have a really high value.

Morey is composed and never lets emotions get the best of him. I can see him giving up brooks, jeffries and hill for bosh. If toronto wants the NY picks included with brooks, I can see Morey retreating. No shame in retreating.

Who is suggesting brooks plus picks and Martin? I haven't seen that. Brooks, Jeffries, and Hill makes more sense.

We aren't loaded at PF. We have Scola, but Hill and PatPat are unproven.
