dont know yet, but if he is, we should leave him a message saying "tell morey to bring back an all star - Clutchfans"
I could be wrong. But I hope I'm not. I've been reading this board for a while and saw a chance to chip in. It's amazing what five minutes on Google will find these days.
Don't you think even if they did book that hotel, that Fritz would be in the caravan at the house of whichever player they wanted to surprise at midnight on July 1? Unless their hotel is just across the street or something. Anyways, don't expect to get a response either way.
well the tweet said it was his hotel room...we dont need to speak to him, just know thats the location do we even know who's in or will be in miami yet?
That's the part I'm still not clear on... Would Morey really send fans to a player's house? I think I'd be creeped out and pissed if a GM did that to me. I would expect it'd be a meeting at a place other than a player's house, no?
You, it occurred to me that showing up at the doorstep of an NBA superstar at midnight ain't gonna do much to affect their decision on whether or not to join your team. So with that in mind, if I was Morey, I would know that with whichever array of superstars I was courting, I would have my opportunity to sell my pitch to them at any point in the next couple weeks, right? So logically, I would use my midnight special visit to go after someone who would actually be surprised by it. Someone on a lower tier of free agency upon whom a more favorable impression could be made by such a sign of devotion. So who could it be? Are we really in for a big surprise this time? Or is it just another Morey Surprise, which is to say a surprise letdown. All of us are expecting Bosh at his house at midnight, but I'll throw my prediction out there...JJ Redick! HA. Would be a classic Morey move too. Blue balls to the fans yet again.
is the number 305-398-7000? just called, no friedman, no kornblith ( i think that's the other employee) and no morey....
